Ideas For Making Your Own Spider Party Invitations

The invitation to the left is simple to do. Just draw a spider's web in yellow on purple card stock. Write the rhyme in the top left corner. Add a spider sticker or cut out graphic to the right top corner, then fill in the remaining details of the party. Cut black cardstock slightly larger than the purple paper and glue the purple cardstock on top to create a black border.

Cut an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of black cardstock into quarters (this gives you four invitations).

Using a florescent green or silver marker, draw an outline of a spider web (you will probably want to lightly draw a template with a pencil first, then trace with the marker). Add a spider sticker or two and the words "You're Invited To A Spider Frenzy Halloween Party!" in yellow or orange, and below that in a different color, write: "All Spiders Are Welcome".

Include the details of the party, such as host/hostess name, address of where the party is being held, the date of the party, the time, and a phone number where they can reach you to let you know whether they are coming or not.
