Spooks and Spirits! It's a Halloween Ghost Party!

It wouldn't be Halloween without ghosts, spooks and phantoms floating around the neighborhood. Therefore, why not plan to have a Halloween ghost party this year? You can invite all of your incorporeal friends to join you for some fun on the other side of the spiritual veil.

Ghostly Invites

Before you have your party, you'll obviously need to contact all the spooks "on the other side" and let them know that they're invited. One idea is to shape your invitation as a ghost form. Decorate the front with ghostly eyes and a mouth, and enter the party details either at the bottom or on the backside. If you like, you could cut the invite from a folded piece of white cardstock so that your invitation opens with a ghost poem or verse on one side and the details of your get-together on the other.

You could also print out old vintage postcard and greeting card graphics featuring ghosts and print them out on cardstock. These would make lovely invitations for a sit-down dinner party or company event.

Decorate For Your Ethereal Friends

Use plenty of ghosts in your decorating scheme. It's pretty easy to make hanging ghosts with sheets and gauzy materials. Hang these in closets, in upper corners of a room, and near an open window. Use smaller ghosties on tables in fun arrangements.

White and black streamers, balloons with ghost images on them, and a ghost silhouette on a window (with a light shining behind it) will definitely add to the atmosphere and enhance your Halloween ghost party theme.
