Halloween Fonts
Halloween fonts can be used for a variety of purposes. You could enlarge the fonts and use a graphics program to color them in Halloween colors. Get the whole family in on the deal by spelling out appropriate holiday words, printing them out, then coloring them in by hand. Once done, cut each letter out and use them to create Halloween-themed words on windows, doors, walls, etc.
You don't need to limit yourself to just paper either. Type out words in creepy letters then print them out onto iron-on transfer paper. From there you can create Halloween t-shirts or a one-of-a-kind Halloween quilt.
Another great idea is to use these fonts when putting together Halloween themed scrapbooks.
Below, you will find many font faces that you can easily download and install on your computer. Just click on the font letters that you want and a pop-up text box will open up asking you where you would like to save your zipped font file. (I would suggest creating a temporary folder in your Temp directory to hold them). Use WinZip to unzip the font. You will need to remember into which folder the unzipped font goes, so write it down.
1. Go to your desktop and double-click the "My Computer" icon, this will open the "My Computer" screen. Double-click "Control Panel". Alternately, you can click your "Start" button at the bottom of your screen, then click "Control Panel" from the list. The Control Panel will open.
2. Double-click the "Fonts" folder. This will now open showing you the installed fonts you have on your computer.
3. Click on "File" and when the pop-down window appears select "Install New Fonts". The "Add Fonts" window will appear. In the bottom half of the window you will see a folders list.
4. Navigate inside the Folders List box until you find the folder where your new unzipped font(s) are located. Click on the fonts that you want installed. The list will appear in the white area above titled: "List of Fonts".
5. Select the font(s) you want installed (you can use Ctrl + click to select more than one font) or by clicking on the top font, holding Shift, and clicking on the last font to select all the fonts in the directory to be installed. Click OK.
Note: as the fonts are installing, if you already happen to have one of the fonts installed you will get a warning box indicating that you cannot install the font unless you first un-install it. Just ignore this and click OK to continue installing the remaining fonts.
